Brief Description:
A Sambalpuri dupatta is a traditional handwoven ikat dupatta wherein the warp and the weft are tie-dyed before weaving. Sambalpuri dupattas are known for their incorporation of traditional motifs like shankha (shell), chakra (wheel), phula (flower) but the highpoint  of these dupatta is the traditional craftsmanship of the ‘Bandhakala’. Blue and black colour sambalpuri handwoven cotton dupatta designed with plain body, dobby motifs on border and floral motifs on bottom part of dupatta.
